Project: Plants as a tool for sustainable global development (CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/16_019/0000827)
Work load: 1,0 (full-time, 40 h per week)

Description:

Project aims to study barley or alfalfa interactions with microbes (Fusarium, Bacillus, Pseudomonas or Sinorhizobium). Focus on plant cytoskeleton and mitogen-activated protein kinases using light-sheet and super-resolution microscopy combined with (phospho)proteomics.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, plant cell biology or related field of study;
  • practical knowledge in molecular biology, microbiology, plant sciences, biochemistry is required;
  • practical experience including but not limited to: molecular cloning, plant and microbe transformation, gene expression, Western blots, phenotyping, (phospho)proteomics, molecular plant-microbe interactions, live cell microscopy using advanced systems;
  • appropriate publication activities in international journals;
  • international experience;
  • active command of English;

We offer:

  • the postdoc full time position (non-academic) till 31. 10. 2022;
  • salary 1500 - 1900 € per month;
