Description:

A successful candidate will become a member of our young and enthusiastic team working in the field of automated plant phenotyping and high-throughput bioassaying and will be personally responsible for method development and performing in indoor automated plant phenotyping and high-throughput bioassaying experiments in (a)biotic stress using the OloPhen phenotyping platform.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in biology or related fields;
  • practical knowledge in the field of high-throughput and large-scale screening methods, non-invasive methods in plant biology and automation of processes;
  • practical experience in development of high-throughput screening methods for identification of biologically active compounds or plant phenotyping;
  • appropriate publication activities in international journals;
  • experience with leading of Master or Ph.D. students is welcomed;
  • international experience in the respective field, including foreign research fellowship application;
  • experience with active presentation of the results at international conferences;
  • active command of English.

We offer:

  • the postdoc full time position (non-academic) for two years (with the possibility of extending for additional 2 years)
  • salary 1600 € per month
