Příprava rekombinantních proteinů a jejich charakterizace. Studium metabolismu rostlinných hormonů cytokininů u rostlin a bakterií, zaměřené převážně na cytokinindehydrogenasy a další enzymy zapojené v metabolismu cytokininů. Antimikrobiální peptidy (příprava pomocí heterologní exprese a testování antimikrobiální aktivity).
