14th International Conference on Research in Didactics of the Sciences DidSci+ 2026

Home/Invitation

The annual DidSci+ symposium is organised in Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic. After the last meeting in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) in 2025, the 14th International Conference on Research in Didactics of the Sciences will be held in Olomouc, which is a beautiful UNESCO town in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. The combination of its rich history on one hand and of the lively atmosphere of a university city on the other has created a unique “genius loci” in Olomouc. Palacký University Olomouc is the second-oldest and third-largest university in the Czech Republic, making it an attractive venue for various scientific meetings.

This three-day scientific conference will cover a wide range of topics in science education. Invited lectures will be presented by respected Czech, Slovak and Polish speakers, and all participants will have the opportunity to present their results through either a short oral communication or a poster. Besides the onsite scientific programme, the meeting offers not only the ideal platform to reinforce the already existing scientific cooperation but also opens the possibilities to establish new collaborations or exchange programmes between the participating Slovak, Polish and Czech institutions.

On behalf of the International Advisory Board and of the Local Organizing Committee, I would like to invite you to participate in the 14th International Conference on Research in Didactics of the Sciences on 17–19 June 2026, which will be held in Fort Science in Olomouc, an interactive science centre of Palacký University Olomouc.

I am looking forward to welcoming you to Olomouc in June 2026.

Bohuslav Drahoš and Jana Prášilová

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee
