Faculty for Ukraine

Collection of material assistance for Ukraine

The Faculty of Science has decided to organize material collection to help Ukrainians.

The collection is held in close cooperation with Yuliya Krasylenko, who comes from the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia. She is not only and employee of the faculty, but she also cooperates with people helping at the border and having ties to coordinators on Ukrainian territory. Through these direct contacts, she can ensure that the collected items reach those who need them the most as quickly as possible.

"In 1938, Europe tried to give way to Hitler and gave him Czechoslovakia. In 1939 the Second World War began and cost Europe millions of lives. In 2022, Ukraine desperately resists the new Hitler, Putin. We are the living shield of Europe. We stand in such a way as to prevent the enemy from moving further. But this time, the whole Europe is united and we believe that the World War III will not begin. We Ukrainians are truly grateful to the Czech Republic, which has become our second home in these difficult times. Our army can only repel Putin's invasion knowing that their parents, wives and children are safe and have everything they need. I sincerely thank the Palacky University community - we will always remember that! Glory to Ukraine! Truth prevails!" Yulia Krasylenko

We are grateful to everyone who decides to help!
