In recent years, there have been more than 400 graduates of Bachelor programs and approximately 300 graduates of follow-up Master study programs per year. For example, from 2003 to 2015, the Faculty "launched" around 6800 graduates into the world.

The Faculty of Science is proud of its graduates and it is very gratifying that many of them remain in regular contact with us. We have been working with them for a long time, for example, there are over 14,500 graduates in our databases. We regularly invite former students to certain events at the Faculty, among others to Silver (25 years since graduation) and Gold (50 years since graduation) graduation ceremony.

Our graduates have been successful in finding employed in the labor market. They leave a remarkable trace behind in the field of education. There are a number of successful academic staff members, school principals and above all, high-quality teachers among our former students. Many top scientists and researchers build on the foundations obtained during the study at the Faculty of Science in Olomouc. However, our graduates often pursue their career in public administration, in private sector, and are successful entrepreneurs.

Gold and diamond graduation ceremony

Golden graduates take part in the symbolic graduation ceremony 50 years after their graduation. In 2007, the Faculty of Science was the first one to start this tradition at Palacký University, and it was the first faculty to organize such an event in the Czech Republic.

Diamond graduation is a festive meeting and a symbolic graduation for alumni 60 years after their graduation. The Faculty will welcome its first diamond graduates in 2017. Since they are the first golden graduates of the Faculty, this is the second opportunity for them to attend this beautiful reunion.

Silver graduation ceremony

The term "silver graduate" was introduced for the purpose of alumni meeting 25 years after their graduation. The Faculty of Science has been organizing the Silver graduation annually since 2009.
