Methodology for testing the effectiveness of essential oils on biotrophic pathogens of fruiting vegetables

This methodology optimizes and unifies previously known methods for testing the effectiveness of essential oils on biotrophic pathogens of fruiting vegetables and, in particular, proposes new methods that are tested on these three model pathosystems: Pseudoperonospora cubensis - Cucumis sativus (downy mildew of cucurbits - cucumber), Podosphaera xanthii - Cucumis sativus (powdery mildew of cucurbits - cucumber), Pseudoidium neolycopersici - Solanum lycopersicum (powdery mildew of tomato - eggplant tomato). The compiled case studies and the created methodology can find practical use for students of biology, phytopathology, and plant medicine.

The methodology is available here (in czech).
