We also ask faculty staff to contact the study department via e-mail.

Closing of the year before Final state examinations

Graduation ceremonies
The original date of graduation has been cancelled. Due to the current situation it is unclear when it will take place. If you have already registered for the graduation, paid a fee and do not want to participate in the graduation, we will refund the fee (just let your study assistant know).

Operation of the Faculty

Deterioration of hot water quality
Due to the limited operation of all facilities, we ask employees to regularly release hot water (in laboratories, offices, etc.) Water should run 2-3 minutes every day or until you smell chlorine.

Due to the deteriorated water quality at buildings on 17. listopadu 50 and 50a, thermal disinfection of domestic hot water took place on  April 28 - May 4. Please note that all employees are still not allowed to shower.

At the end of April, a contract was concluded with the Moravian Water Company, which will provide water quality control twice a year in the Envelopa complex.

Overhaul of the roof
Currently, the implementation of the 3rd stage of overhaul of the roof of the main Faculty building is taking place. During the implementation, increased noise and dust can be expected. Cleaning is provided by the building management - operational section.

Until the end of June, construction will be carried out on the SE terrace (towards the dormitories). The construction work consists of replacing the treading areas and adding extensive greenery.

The date of implementation of the 4th stage is set according to the contract in the period from May 15 to August 31, 2020. Due to the current coronavirus situation, we are not able to say at what time in which time schedule the work will be performed. You will be informed about the dates of work. During its implementation, the classrooms on the 5th floor (5,006, 5,007 and 5,008 and the terrace) will be inaccessible. You can read about other upcoming repairs on the website https://stavby.prf.upol.cz.
