Amendments of ongoing GA CR projects in 2019

Since this year, changes have been made to amendments to contracts. According to new rules, the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic will not send amendments to grant contracts for running projects unless there is a difference in the project proposal resp. the subsidy contract. (Until last year, additions to grant agreements were sent annually to grant providers by the grant provider).

Grant provider's amendments to grant agreements will only be automatically sent if there is any change in the original project proposal or data (e.g. changes described in partial reports or on the basis of a project change request).

If the project has a co-investigator, an amendment will be created individually by the Legal Department of the Rector´s office, reflecting changes to the grant agreement. Amendments to grant agreements in order to create amendments to co-investigating contracts will be submitted to the Legal Department through Science and Research Department of the Rector´s office.

Please contact the Department of Science and Research at the Faculty of Science, Ivana Saitzová, ivana.saitzova@upol.cz.

If there is no amendment sent by the Grant Agency, the existing grant agreement, including the breakdown of funds specified therein, shall be followed.

Amendments to co-investigating contracts concluded last year for projects with implementation from 2017 and 2018 have been treated against the changes made by the GACR. In this case, the amendments to co-investigating contracts do not have to be concluded.

Transfer of funds sent from the Grant Agency to the co-investigator is carried out immediately as soon as the investigator receives the funds.
