Announcement of a one-level public tender for targeted support of the Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health (MH) has announced a one-level public tender for targeted support of MH, for the solution of health research and development projects fulfilling the announced Program for the support of applied health research for the years 2020 - 2026. Detailed information can be found on the provider's website.

Application forms are available exclusively in the ISVP internet on-line application, if the person interested in submitting the project ("proposer") has not yet set up a user account in ISVP, please contact Mgr. Miriam Delongová (miriam.delongova@upol.cz, ext. 4022). Send project proposals generated from the ISVP (they must not be changed in any way - renamed, etc.) to the e-mail miriam.delongova@upol.cz by June 24, by 12:00 pm. At the same time, it is necessary to send the completed green covering sheet signed by the proposer and the head of the department by internal mail. The deadline of June 24 is set so that there is enough time for matching the project proposal sent by the data box to the provider with the proposal in the ISVP application (in previous years the pairing did not take place on the first try, project proposals had to be sent repeatedly). Project proposals sent after deadline cannot be guaranteed check.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Health points out that the condition for submitting a project proposal to this public tender is the obligation to state the so-called "ORCID ID" for the person of the proposer and co-proposer. Contact person: Mgr. Miriam Delongová (miriam.delongova@upol.cz).

International and non-university matters

Support for international cooperation development
As a part of the Institutional Plan, the Faculty of Science also received a contribution to the development of international cooperation. These resources can be used for travel costs of faculty staff related to cooperation development, short-term visits of foreign experts at FS or co-financing of student mobilities abroad. However, no wage or personal expenses can be paid from these resources. If you are planning a trip or a visit that meets the above definition, you can pre-apply for (partial) financial support by email to Waleria Slowiková (waleria.slowikova@upol.cz). In the application state the names of the participants, the foreign institution, the requested amount of support (including the main source of funding and the total expected cost) and the purpose of the visit.

The decision on granting the support will be made with regard to the degree of completion of the cooperation and with an effort to evenly cover all the fields. Preference will be given to activities co-financed by the departments.

Call for proposals for joint Czech-French research projects
Barrande mobility is the Franco-Czech Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC). It is implemented in France by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), and in the Czech Republic by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT).

The objective of the program is to encourage the development of scientific exchanges between laboratories of the two countries, by promoting new cooperation and the participation of young researchers and doctoral students. The call is open to all scientific fields and the projects submitted must fall within the field of fundamental research.

NB: the French teams should apply to Campus France (https://www.campusfrance.org/fr/barrande) and the Czech teams to the MŠMT (https://www.msmt.cz/vyzkum-a-vyvoj-2/vyzva-k-podavani-navrhu-spolecnych-cesko-francouzskych-9), simultaneously. The projects are then evaluated by a Franco-Czech commission. Application deadline is on June 30, 2021.
