Introductory word

Dear students,
we would love to hear feedback on the winter semester! One of the main tools for evaluation of quality of the educational process is teaching evaluation. By February 12 you may assess teaching skills of your educators.

What does it entail and who gets to evaluate?

It is an evaluation of the teaching by its direct participant, the student, which provides the teacher, the head of his / her department and the management of the entire faculty with the necessary feedback. Thanks to the information obtained during the evaluation of teaching, the management of the faculty, the heads of departments and individual teachers can continuously improve the quality of teaching. Feedback is important not only for improving pedagogical activities, but also contributes to open communication at the faculty and to improving education.

Teaching evaluation is part of the quality management system at Palacký University. Its aim is to obtain from as many students as possible information about the quality of teaching, the compliance with its content with the content announced in the course annotation, methods used in teaching and the approach of teachers. All this information is key so that teaching in all these areas can be constantly improved. The evaluation applies to all taught subjects. You can find more information at https://eval.upol.cz/StudentEvaluation.
